Planting Instructions

Choose a few small seedlings or a larger one which can be split in half. If possible, water the plant before handling it. Moist roots endure handling better.

1. Spread a layer of light gravel at the bottom of Henga (1-1,5dl).

2. Place a layer of unbleached, porous paper (e.g. newspaper) on top of the gravel to keep the soil and gravel separate.

3. Next, spread a thin layer of soil and fertilizer (if necessary) in the pot.

4. Place the plant inside Henga. If the seedlings are small, several can be planted in one pot. A larger seedling should be split carefully in half to make planting easier.

5. Add soil, if necessary. The surface of the soil should remain about 1 cm from the bottom of the opening.

6. Water the plant carefully. Do not water it again until the top soil has clearly dried.

7. When watering the plant, keep its location and needs in mind. Add a maximum of 1 dl of water at a time.
